📋 Description

• Build trusted customer relationships as the primary technical point of contact and advise customers on IT security • Analyze and clearly explain security incidents identified by the Security Operations Center • Provide targeted support in responding to security incidents • Communicate cybersecurity best practices to non-technical stakeholders • Analyze and resolve technical challenges and security issues across diverse IT environments • Evaluate log data and security-related events to identify vulnerabilities and threats • Prepare technical reports and documentation • Compile security-related information for customers • Co-develop workshops, training sessions, and guidelines to improve customer security • Provide technical and interpersonal mentorship to junior analysts and engineers • Support the continued development of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services • Develop security strategies and manage projects from planning through post-project review

🎯 Requirements

• More than 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity • At least 3 years of experience in systems, network, or cloud administration • Knowledge of IT networks, network security, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS solutions • Experience in risk management and vulnerability assessment • Excellent written and spoken German and English • Technical expertise in at least 4 of the following areas: network security, operating systems, encryption, penetration testing, security tools, cloud security, security frameworks, and vulnerability assessment • Comprehensive knowledge of network architectures, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies • Experience hardening Windows, Linux, and Unix systems • Familiarity with encryption methods and protocols • Experience analyzing penetration test results • Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, UTM, and honeypots • Knowledge of modern cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure • Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST • Experience using Nmap, Nessus, or OpenVAS • Ability to assess risks thoroughly and derive customer-focused measures • Ability to align security strategies with business objectives • Strong analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach • Experience taking responsibility for projects from planning through post-project review • This position requires a background check • Willingness and ability to work in accordance with information security policies, standards, and processes • Access to U.S. export-controlled information may require appropriate authorization under the EAR
