📋 Description

• Validate business requirements and design risk-based testing strategies • Execute functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing across web applications and distributed services • Develop and maintain UI test automation using Playwright • Validate backend services and data integrity • Document defects and perform root cause analysis on production issues using application logs and telemetry • Act as a quality advocate in Agile ceremonies • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to identify risks early and ensure clear acceptance criteria • Enhance CI/CD pipelines and improve system observability • Evolve quality engineering standards and best practices across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, risk-based testing, SDLC, STLC, Agile development practices, and Quality Engineering principles • Experience testing modern web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Experience creating or maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks • Experience validating API requests, responses, business rules, and downstream data integrity • Experience performing impact analysis and determining regression scope for changes affecting shared services or multiple applications • Working knowledge of software architecture concepts, including service-oriented and microservices-based applications • Exposure to cloud-native applications, modern software delivery practices, and CI/CD pipelines • Bonus: Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG), security, or compliance testing practices • Bonus: Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, Insomnia, or similar • Bonus: Experience testing event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, or supplier/third-party integrations • Bonus: Experience using observability platforms, centralized logging, distributed tracing, or APM tools • Bonus: Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application deployments • Bonus: Experience with performance, load, or resilience testing using k6, JMeter, or similar • Bonus: Experience contributing to automation frameworks, reusable test utilities, or shared Quality Engineering tooling
