📋 Description

• Write functional specifications and design specifications for system software • Implement solutions to small-sized problems using C, C++, and python • Write test plan specifications and implement automated tests • Debug problems found by automated test programs • Collaborate with Customer Support Engineers to analyze and fix network problems • Mentor new and junior engineers • Create schedules for implementation tasks and report progress

🎯 Requirements

• BSc, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 2+ years of related post graduate work experience • Knowledge of C, C++, and/or python • Knowledge of UNIX or Linux • Understanding of L2/L3 networking, IP routing protocols, and layer 2 features • Ability to utilize, test, and debug packet forwarding engine • Hands-on experience in the design and development of ethernet bridging or routing • Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills • Experience in software engineering principles • Ability to design and implement solutions to small-sized problems without help
