📋 Description

• Independently manage buy-side M&A transactions from initial analysis through successful completion • Conduct company valuations and develop transaction and financing structures • Prepare and negotiate offers and relevant transaction documents together with the M&A team • Support and coordinate due diligence processes across relevant functional areas • Identify and analyze potential acquisition targets in the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) market • Proactively approach target companies and develop existing relationships as part of the buy-and-build strategy • Use market and company analyses to identify and assess acquisition opportunities at an early stage • Evaluate the strategic and commercial potential of prospective acquisitions and prepare decision-making materials for management • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and ensure a structured deal process • Collaborate with the M&A team, Head of M&A, CEO, and CFO • Manage external advisors and coordinate relevant workstreams • Monitor timelines, milestones, and decision-making materials throughout transaction processes

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field • Several years of relevant professional experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or a comparable transaction-related role • Proven end-to-end deal experience, ideally on the buy side • Experience independently managing small- to mid-cap transactions • Excellent German language skills • Experience in a private equity or buy-and-build environment is an advantage • Knowledge of the Health, Safety, Healthcare, or Professional Services sectors is a plus • Experience working with senior management, investors, and external transaction advisors is desirable • Structured, analytical, and independent approach to work • Excellent communication skills
