📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end data and AI initiatives with autonomy and broad business impact • Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models to detect fraud, abuse, and waste in healthcare payments • Design and evaluate LLM-based solutions (agents, pipelines, and evaluation approaches), using sound judgment to determine where they deliver the greatest value • Structure experiments and analyses by proposing hypotheses and systematically testing solutions • Translate poorly defined business problems into clear, measurable analytical solutions • Partner with data engineering to ensure the quality, integrity, and accessibility of the data that supports the models • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and objectively to a range of technical and business stakeholders • Lead initiatives that combine modeling, LLM agents, and Arvo’s data platform to analyze medical bills at scale and generate savings for clients • Partner closely with the Business, Health, and Data Engineering teams • Play an active role in the technical development of colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field • Strong experience in applied statistical modeling and/or machine learning • Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development • Hands-on experience using LLMs in analytical or product solutions, including prompting, evaluation, agents, or pipelines • Experience manipulating and querying SQL databases • Analytical and scientific mindset, with a track record of solving complex and ambiguous problems using data • Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and translating business requirements into analytical solutions • Preferred: experience in healthtech or with healthcare data • Preferred: knowledge of ETL tools • Preferred: familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP) and BigQuery • Preferred: experience evaluating and monitoring LLM-based systems
