📋 Description

• Report to the Controller and work alongside the Senior Director of Finance and the Head of Finance • Perform financial period close tasks and complex journal entries/accounting analysis • Perform balance sheet analysis and reviews, including reconciliations of accounts • Follow up with vendors/suppliers on missing invoices and take accountability for cost accruals for the P&L review • Reconcile intercompany transactions • Prepare financial KPIs and review them for accuracy • Prepare ad-hoc performance analysis and management reporting • Perform monthly variance analysis of actual versus plan, budget, or forecast • Prepare and process payroll tax returns, VAT returns, and intra-community (ICP) declarations for local entities • Lead annual statutory audits, yearly financial statement closings and tax filings, and ad-hoc compliance requirements • Process payments and bank transfers and ensure approvals are adequate • Ensure key controls and procedures are respected and implemented where needed • Support the Head of Finance in overseeing AP/AR analysts, including reviewing their work, coaching, and onboarding • Supervise and assist the team to ensure timely delivery • Participate in special projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience • Multi-currency and multi-entity experience • Demonstrable expertise in accrual accounting theory and practice • Hands-on experience with Dutch GAAP • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel • Fluent English • You live in and are authorised to work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship available) • Dutch, NetSuite experience, and a professional qualification in bookkeeping and/or accounting are listed as nice-to-haves • German or French are listed as nice-to-haves
