📋 Description

• Lead reinsurance settlement activities, reconciliations, reporting, and operational oversight • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of reinsurance settlements and financial requirements • Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, variances, operational issues, and improvement opportunities • Use business intelligence and AI-enabled tools to streamline reconciliations, reporting, documentation, and decision-making • Drive automation, system integration, and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability • Partner with Finance, Technology, and Operations stakeholders to develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and business insights • Support and transform Assurant’s reinsurance operations through accounting expertise, data analytics, business intelligence, and emerging AI technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, data analytics, business intelligence, automation, or digital transformation environments • Experience working with large data sets, data modeling, financial systems, and process optimization initiatives • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to translate operational challenges into actionable insights • Demonstrated interest, aptitude, or experience using AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve business processes and productivity • Experience within the insurance or reinsurance industry; reinsurance experience highly desirable • Hands-on experience with Alteryx workflow design and automation • Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, or similar business intelligence platforms • Experience leading or supporting system implementations, integrations, or technology transformation projects • Ability to work in an evolving environment where responsibilities continuously adapt to business needs • Position involves prolonged periods of sitting and occasional standing, walking, or lifting up to 10 pounds • Employment contingent upon completion of a required identity verification process, which may include biometric technology where permitted by applicable law
