📋 Description

• As part of delivering engineering design projects (maîtrise d’œuvre), and in collaboration with the project manager, you are responsible for the technical leadership of assigned projects. • Ensuring that the design complies with contractual requirements. • Ensuring the quality and contractual compliance of technical documentation. • Managing client relations for technical and operational matters (complementary to the project manager who handles contractual aspects). • Leading the multi-disciplinary design team throughout the project. • Defining technical and financial scope and objectives. • Ensuring the overall technical coherence of solutions developed by the design engineers. • Monitoring the incorporation of requirements into the design. • Coordinating daily study/design activities and ensuring the production, verification and delivery of documentation to the client on time and to the required quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree (engineering school diploma or equivalent) with a specialization in Nuclear Engineering or Industrial Engineering. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in delivering design/engineering projects (maîtrise d’œuvre). • Significant experience in the design of nuclear or industrial facilities, ideally from the early design/basic design phases. • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in client-facing situations. • Commitment to fully understanding the technical scope of studies assigned by the client. • Leadership skills: we are not looking for a single-discipline expert but for someone able to understand issues and risks and to lead an engineering design office. • Structured and able to bring structure to the team; reliable.
