📋 Description

• Lead hardware provisioning, RAID configuration, and disk array optimization for enterprise physical security applications • Configure and validate Dell iDRAC, Lifecycle Controller, firmware baselines, and Dell OpenManage settings • Deploy Windows Server and hardened Linux operating systems using PXE boot or iDRAC Virtual Media • Design and implement VLAN and subnet segmentation for CCTV, PIDS, and intercom traffic • Configure Cisco Catalyst QoS policies for high-bandwidth video streams • Manage PoE/PoE+ budgets and monitoring for IP cameras, door readers, and security panels • Harden Cisco IOS devices using ACLs, service disabling, and secure SSH/HTTPS management • Coordinate with Network Engineers and Physical Security Installation Teams on network readiness and device-to-server connectivity • Execute bandwidth, physical-layer distance, and latency validation testing before handoff • Develop as-built documentation, topology diagrams, VLAN matrices, IP records, and configuration backups • Provide 24x7 technical support, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for medium-complexity issues • Deliver weekly project status updates and maintain programming sheets, documentation, and asset management accuracy • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise server and network infrastructure deployment • Related field experience • Strong expertise with Dell PowerEdge servers, PERC/RAID controllers, iDRAC, firmware management, and Lifecycle Controller • Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst switches, VLANs, QoS, PoE, and IOS security hardening • Experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux in enterprise environments • Working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, and automation/configuration-management tools • Experience with Dell iDRAC, Lifecycle Controller, OpenManage, and RAID/PERC utilities • Experience with PXE boot infrastructure, iDRAC Virtual Media, Windows Server and Linux ISOs, hardening, and automation scripts • Experience with Cisco IOS CLI, PoE management, VLAN/QoS tools, network monitoring, and bandwidth/latency testing • Experience with Ansible, Python, CMDB systems, configuration backup tools, and documentation/diagramming platforms • Ability to provide 24x7 rotational support • Ability to collaborate across technical teams and mentor junior engineers
