📋 Description

• report to a manager in the Product Design team within the broader Design group. • work with writers, designers, developers, product managers, marketers, and support engineers to ensure that the stories we tell are consistent and create a great experience for our customers. • gain exposure to the full design & product development process: see how product designers work from discovery through delivery across products like Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc. • contribute to design work that impacts real users, rather than 'practice' projects. • be mentored by experienced designers who guide your work, feedback, and growth during the internship. • work with product designers, product managers, engineers, sometimes researchers and content designers. • experience Atlassian’s culture and programs: join company-wide and cross-regional initiatives, events, and design community activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) program from November 2026 - February 2027. • Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelors or Masters degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by December 2027. • Strong passion for user-focused design - caring deeply about solving real user problems. • Ability to handle multiple projects - plan your time and juggle design tasks effectively. • Collaboration mindset - enjoy working closely with engineers, PMs, and other designers. • An understanding of what constitutes good design , either through design/UI work of your own or working with designers in a team. • Experience driving decisions in the face of ambiguity and change.
