📋 Description

• Learn and own the group’s operating system, systems, ventures, and stage gates • Hold every venture to M0/M1/M2 progression standards and continuously improve the system • Drive Venture 001 and Venture 002 from readiness to launch and plan Venture 003 • Make independent sequencing and prioritization decisions across ventures • Own on-time, on-system launches and report signal, risks, and blockers early • Recruit and hire Venture CEOs or EIRs for current and future ventures • Build the attract kit and compensation architecture for founder-caliber talent • Run annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly operating cadences • Coordinate execution in ClickUp or equivalent and leadership calendars • Ensure ventures have required digital presence for launch • Assess portfolio hiring needs with the Head of People • Prioritize AI agents before headcount and build the AI operating layer • Build lean, high-caliber teams as justified by portfolio needs • Establish predictable portfolio execution toward approximately ten live ventures by the end of 2027

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in startup operations, venture building, general management, or a comparable operating role, ideally spanning more than one company • Direct, hands-on experience taking at least one company from zero to launch • Strong working knowledge of AI tools and agentic workflows, using them to replace team-based work • Experience designing or operating structured processes for de-risking initiatives, such as stage gates or funnel management • Experience managing multiple workstreams, products, or business lines simultaneously without a large team • Experience reporting directly to a CEO or founder, with judgment to identify and escalate risks early • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide concise, honest business-health assessments • Comfortable operating as an independent contractor • Preferred: venture studio, startup holding company, private equity operating group, or multi-entity experience • Preferred: experience building or scaling a B2B SaaS company • Preferred: structured venture-building frameworks and stage-gate methodologies • Preferred: AI agent orchestration, automation platforms, or AI-native internal tooling • Preferred: founder experience, including successful exit or portfolio-level operating interest
