📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop Billing and Collections Specialists, including onboarding, goal setting, and performance reviews • Set priorities, allocate workload, and hold the team to accuracy and cash collection targets • Build team documentation and standard processes • Own billing accuracy and compliance with internal policies • Resolve discrepancies, credits, adjustments, and invoicing issues • Act as the escalation point for complex billing cases • Drive continuous improvement in billing accuracy and efficiency • Own the collections strategy for strategic and high-value accounts • Reduce aging receivables and improve cash flow • Manage escalations and assess payment risk and account health • Own AR aging, collections, and cash flow forecast reporting • Track billing and collections KPIs, identify trends and risks, and provide leadership recommendations • Lead automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives • Own internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance for billing and collections • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to resolve accounts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field • 7+ years in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or related finance operations • 2+ years leading or mentoring a team • Advanced understanding of billing, collections, account reconciliation, and revenue operations • Experience resolving complex billing disputes and managing escalations • Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance • Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, and financial systems • Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills • Excellent written and spoken English
