📋 Description

• Protect the company’s intellectual property and transform non-compliant software usage into revenue opportunities • Analyze telemetry and compliance data to identify unauthorized software usage within corporate accounts • Convert compliance leads into net-new sales opportunities and drive incremental revenue recovery • Own and track the compliance revenue pipeline for China from detection through commercial resolution • Lead commercial negotiations with non-compliant organizations and guide them toward software legalization • Develop and execute a China-specific license compliance strategy • Collaborate with industry associations, legal counsel, and government bodies on anti-piracy initiatives • Align local resellers to handle compliance-generated leads and convert them into commercial accounts • Manage soft audits and formal review processes with corporate clients • Use internal telemetry tools and external data to identify and prioritize high-value compliance targets • Track KPIs including recovered revenue, conversion rate, and pipeline velocity • Collaborate with local Sales, Legal, and Channel Partner teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, or a related field • 12+ years of experience in License Compliance, Software Asset Management (SAM), Inside Sales, or Software Business Development within the China market • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through compliance or complex commercial negotiations • Ability to balance legal IP rights with business acumen, treating compliance as a customer acquisition channel • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for high-stakes, sensitive negotiations with C-level executives in Chinese enterprises • Deep understanding of the software purchasing ecosystem, local business etiquette, and IP law frameworks in China • Native fluency in Mandarin • Professional proficiency in English • Qualified applicants considered without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics • Applicants outside the USA should provide a home address for future correspondence
