📋 Description

• Design and build agents that automate real fund-operations workflows • Own agents from prototype through production and ongoing operation • Integrate agents with services, data models, and authorization systems • Build evaluation layers with real-document test cases, expected outputs, CI regression suites, human review, and success criteria • Improve agent accuracy, latency, and cost • Own AI application architecture, including orchestration, multi-agent design, tool contracts, memory, RAG, MCP, guardrails, approvals, and human-in-the-loop controls • Manage production rollouts with versioning, feature flags, rate limits, provider fallback, EU regional failover, and observability • Consolidate document parsing and extraction into the AI Platform team • Create shared evaluation and observability capabilities for other teams • Establish engineering patterns and mentor engineers across teams • Review the MCP offering and ship it to initial customers within the first 90 days • Establish shared observability dashboards for AI workloads • Publish v1 agent patterns and drive adoption by at least one team outside AI Platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building production software, including at least one agent or LLM-powered capability taken end to end and still owned after launch • Real depth in orchestration and context engineering: tool contracts, memory, RAG, multi-agent design, with Mastra, ai-sdk, LangGraph or similar • Experience integrating agents into a real product and its authorization model • Ability to make non-deterministic systems measurable using real-data test cases, regression suites, human review, and meaningful benchmarks • Experience reading traces, diagnosing failure modes, tuning cost and latency, and handling provider rate limits and fallback • Experience with TypeScript and/or Python • Platform mindset and experience building for other engineers and end users • Experience in fintech, private markets, or another regulated, document-heavy domain is a plus • Experience working under EU data-residency constraints is a plus • Must be currently residing in Spain or Portugal and have the legal right to work there • Availability to work remotely and travel to Berlin or other locations for quarterly team events
