📋 Description

• Provide local medical expertise supporting product assets through development, pre-marketing, launch, marketing support, and lifecycle management • Support safe and appropriate product use, data generation and dissemination, healthcare professional interactions, and GCP compliance • Lead and directly manage Medical Associates in Austria • Develop and implement medical strategies and plans aligned with local, regional, and global strategies and business needs • Establish scientifically credible relationships with opinion leaders, healthcare providers, research collaborators, and key organizations • Lead clinically relevant local medical meetings, advisory boards, scientific events, consultancy activities, and investigator meetings • Collaborate with commercial, market access, regulatory, quality, pharmacovigilance, clinical development, and cross-functional teams • Contribute to medical and scientific gap analyses, investigator-initiated studies, publication planning, data dissemination, and HCP outreach • Deliver and review medical education and training materials for internal and external stakeholders • Facilitate strategic partnerships with scientific and clinical experts and serve as local contact for authorities, associations, cooperative groups, cancer institutions, and patient advocacy groups • Design, implement, and manage post-marketing studies and investigator-sponsored research in compliance with GCP and ethical requirements • Support cross-regional Medical Affairs tactics and activities • Develop, track, execute, and report goals and objectives • Support local Medical Affairs budget planning and management • Serve as a medical and scientific resource for Marketing, Regulatory, Market Access, Pharmacovigilance, and Risk Management • Work compliantly and contribute to the team’s compliance capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• MD Physician / PhD • Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience and proven success within biotech or pharmaceutical companies • Previous experience managing a team of Medical Affairs associates • Expert understanding of local health care delivery systems, including managed care and its impact on patient care, regional medical care, and the pharmaceutical industry • Ability to identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs at local and regional levels • Strong comprehension of disease states and knowledge of differential algorithms for treatment decisions • Clinical and industry experience, preferably in Haemato-Oncology • Ability to interpret key scientific data and translate findings into educational and research needs • Understanding of research study design and execution and strategic implications • Flexibility to work with colleagues in virtual and regional settings • Experience in a local, regional, or multi-country setup is an advantage • High level of written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills • English and German proficiency mandatory • Highest ethical standards in corporate medical governance • Ability to travel approximately 25%-50% for work
