📋 Description

• Create fresh, varied and beautiful designs for the Japan community • Develop unique template concepts across themes and topics that resonate in Japan • Collaborate with asset creators on illustrations, photos and other supporting design elements • Suggest new design styles and creative directions for local users • Manage quality for Creator templates with the Creator Template Review Team • Use AI tools to create templates at scale for the Japan market without compromising craft or cultural relevance • Write clear Creator briefs with direction, context and inspiration • Partner with the Design Lead to manage freelancer designers and keep work on track, on-brief and on deadline • Oversee the end-to-end rollout of the Japan content library • Collaborate with copywriters, illustrators, market growth and localisation specialists

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Graphic, Brand or Visual Designer across digital and print marketing • Genuine love for design trends and styles specific to Japan • Portfolio showing passion for clean, elegant, beautiful design • Strong craft in hand illustration, typography, colour, conceptual graphic design and layout • Sharp eye for visual, cultural and pop culture trends • Strong stylistic point of view grounded in design fundamentals • Design with the end user in mind and deliver work on deadline and to brief • Experience giving clear, kind and useful design feedback • Comfortable using AI tools in the design workflow and curious about advancing their use • Ability to write a tight creative brief • Experience coordinating, guiding or supporting a small group of designers, or willingness to step into that role • Canva experience is a plus • Resume and portfolio link required when applying
