📋 Description

• You will be supported and inspired by a collaborative network of colleagues around the world. • You will lead complex transformation programs within the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces), public authorities, and the defense industry. • You act as a trusted advisor to CIOs and IT leaders. • You develop roadmaps and orchestrate programs that prepare organizations for the digital future. • Strategy & Analysis: Assess existing IT and organizational structures and derive transformation strategies for defense environments. • Program & Project Leadership: Responsible for executing IT transformation projects. • Change Management: Coach client teams, facilitate workshops, and support organizational change in public sector organizations and industry. • Governance & Compliance: Ensure standards, KPIs, and regulatory requirements are met. • Innovation & Best Practices: Leverage Capgemini frameworks and industry standards for sustainable transformation.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT management, transformation, or consulting — ideally in defense programs. • Defense background (industry, public sector, or military officer career). • Knowledge of IT strategy, architecture, and governance, complemented by methodological expertise (ITIL, TOGAF, SAFe). • Experience in complex transformation programs (cloud, digitization, outsourcing, SIAM). • Communication & leadership skills: Ability to advise at C-level and manage diverse stakeholders. • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken. • Nice to have: Certifications (ITIL Expert, SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2), knowledge of financial management and KPI governance. • Willingness to undergo security screening under the SÜG (German security clearance) and to travel — primarily within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
