📋 Description

• Collaboratively define, design, and deliver new features with iOS, Web, and backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers • Ensure software robustness through comprehensive unit and integration testing • Address edge cases, usability, and general reliability • Initiate and drive personal project initiatives from idea through app integration • Lead projects from inception to successful delivery, aligned with business goals and stakeholder expectations • Keep up with the latest Android SDK, tools, and conventions • Report to the team's Engineering Manager • Collaborate with the Android Chapter Lead on chapter-specific issues and tech OKRs • Work alongside Backend, iOS, and Web counterparts to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience across platforms

🎯 Requirements

• University and/or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent • 8+ years of engineering experience • At least 5 years of experience shipping real-world production Android applications • Passion about mobile platforms and solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle • Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Java • Experience with one or more of MVP, MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture • Strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices in application development • Experience leading medium to large-scale projects • Excellent problem-solving and learning ability • Holistic knowledge and passion for the Android platform • Proficiency with Jetpack Compose, Room, Kotlin Coroutines, and ReactiveX • Superior analytical skills and a strong sense of ownership • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Familiarity with integration, functional, and UI automation testing • Analytic tool experience and data-driven culture • Experience in CI/CD, such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise • Experience with observability tools • Experience in performance monitoring/testing
