📋 Description

• Deliver on-site primary healthcare and emergency medical treatment at a remote FIFO site • Respond to medical emergencies and call-outs • Coordinate RFDS aeromedical retrievals • Assess, treat and manage work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses • Manage blood lead monitoring, drug and alcohol screening and vaccine programs • Run the on-site and village clinics • Operate a 4WD ambulance • Work independently at a remote site with no nearby doctor, medical clinic or hospital

🎯 Requirements

• Emergency remote care experience, working independently in an isolated setting • Acute care experience in an Emergency Department and/or Intensive Care Unit • Experience with fitness for work assessments, health surveillance and return to work support • Knowledge of the health regulatory framework and OSHA injury and illness recording • Collaboration with triage doctors, allied health and emergency response teams • Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science (Nursing) • Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration • Current manual driver's licence • Drug and Alcohol Testing Officer qualification • Advanced Life Support (ALS) qualification • Emergency Remote Care qualification • Audiometry and Spirometry testing approval • Cert IV Trainer and Assessor is desirable
