âą Conduct and coordinate a structured comparative review of AI governance frameworks across the EU, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea, Brazil, and South Africa âą Conduct desk-based research and map national AI laws, regulatory strategies, and policy frameworks âą Analyse sector-specific measures relevant to cultural and creative industries and GLAM institutions âą Assess AI ethics, intellectual property management, labour rights and skills development, cultural diversity and inclusion, data governance, and access to AI tools âą Identify mitigation strategies for data scarcity, algorithmic bias, and fragmentation âą Examine alternative platform structures addressing cultural gatekeeping concentration âą Produce structured AI policy and initiatives profiles for each jurisdiction âą Coordinate input from partner institutions responsible for specific geographic areas âą Provide technical advice to the pan-European Survey on the Impact of AI âą Attend online consortium meetings and accompany UNESCO teams in relevant meetings and working groups âą Submit progress reports and contribute to internal project reviews and reporting cycles âą Deliver comparative analysis, jurisdictional profiles, final consolidated report, findings, and policy recommendations
âą Degree in international law, public policy, political science, digital governance, or related fields âą Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience âą Demonstrated experience in comparative policy analysis or regulatory research, preferably in AI, digital governance, or culture âą Proven track record producing research reports, policy briefs, or academic publications âą At least 2 years of relevant experience in project management and implementation âą Strong writing and communication skills âą Strong analytical skills in comparative law and policy research methodologies âą Solid understanding of AI governance frameworks and the regulatory landscape for AI at EU and international levels âą Familiarity with cultural and creative industries policy, intellectual property rights, and cultural diversity frameworks âą Ability to synthesise large volumes of legal and policy text across multiple languages and jurisdictions âą Excellent spoken and written English âą Working knowledge of French or Spanish is desired, not required
