• Serve as the definitive product and solutions authority for the APAC region • Shape product strategy and roadmap priorities • Foster cross-functional collaboration and align local market needs with Caseware's global product vision • Manage product managers and product owners in the APAC region • Provide coaching, mentorship, performance reviews, goal setting and development opportunities • Build in-region capacity and strengthen local roadmap ownership • Own the regional product roadmap, business cases and resourcing trade-offs • Scope and prioritise development activity based on business and customer impact • Act as the key internal product subject matter expert and escalation point for complex product requirements • Assist with development planning and backlog prioritisation • Write and refine user stories and contribute to backlog grooming • Maintain relationships with global Solution Leads, Product Managers/Owners and distributors • Represent APAC customer stories, requirements and roadmap priorities in international planning • Engage customers through client interviews and feedback channels to understand pain points and define market problems • Maintain knowledge of accounting and audit industry developments, local compliance standards and emerging practice issues • Manage relationships with APAC subject matter experts, standard setters and member bodies, including CA ANZ, CPA, AUASB, AASB, ISCA and HKICA • Support timely information sharing and Caseware's inclusion in relevant publications and technology considerations
• 10+ years' experience in product management or solutions roles • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity owning a roadmap end-to-end and leading product teams across multiple markets • At least 5 years' experience working in or with the audit and accounting profession • Strong working knowledge of audit and accounting practice • Minimum of 3 years' experience working across APAC markets • Understanding of local regulatory and compliance environments across Australia, New Zealand and Asia • Proven ability to build business cases, weigh resourcing trade-offs, and prioritise development activity based on customer and commercial impact • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Track record of influencing international product, engineering and distributor counterparts without direct authority • Experience running client interviews and feedback programs and turning insight into well-defined market problems and user stories • At least 3 years' direct people-management experience coaching and growing product managers and product owners • Familiarity with modern product frameworks and agile delivery practices • Backlog grooming, user story writing and prioritisation at scale
