📋 Description

• Join the Central Quality Engineering Function. • Partner with product teams to embed quality into development through tooling, automation, infrastructure, reporting and best practices. • Practice quality strategy across the SaaS platform and improve the test pyramid beyond sole UI-based validation. • Improve CI/CD and developer workflows by enhancing E2E test stability and speed, test data setup, test isolation and execution reliability. • Champion tooling and practices that reduce flaky tests and noisy signals and provide actionable test-failure feedback. • Support timely completion of functionality and enhancements driven by team roadmaps. • Participate in testing phases using agentic testing capabilities and AI Test Harnesses. • Drive quality KPIs including test coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness, execution health, flakiness and regression rates. • Refine quality practices and guide investments in automation and infrastructure. • Engage in cross-functional initiatives spanning design, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring and incident reviews. • Share testing methodologies with developers and fellow SDETs and promote an AI-first mindset. • Report into the Central Quality function and work within the SE Platform team.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years' experience working in Quality Engineering teams within modern SaaS or platform organizations in cloud-native environments (AWS). • Expertise in working with scaling automated testing infrastructure, including integration with modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Workflows). • Knowledge of testing strategies and tools across the pyramid, from unit to E2E, including API contract and integration testing (Cypress, Pact, K6). • Solid front-end knowledge and testing fluency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript. • Familiarity with observability tools and best practices for improving test signal and pipeline feedback loops. • Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence fellow engineering and product stakeholders across the org. • Foster a cross platform collaborative testing mindset to ensure quality flows through the Caseware Cloud Ecosystem. • Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed teams across multiple regions. • Experience integrating QA tools like Zephyr Scale and on-prem CI/CD systems (GitHub). • A strategic growth mindset paired with a desire to learn and mentor others with a pragmatic, system-thinking approach to quality at scale. • Keen interest and knowledge of AI-powered testing tools like CoPilot, Devin and Claude is a bonus. • Successful candidates must complete a background check; candidates residing in the Netherlands and Germany are excluded from Certn.co background checks.
