📋 Description

• Utilize diverse cloud technologies to support Centric Cloud customers • Help build and maintain a scalable, robust, highly available platform for Centric’s C8 cloud application • Respond to and resolve time-critical customer issues in the public cloud • Perform customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in cloud environments • Support automation projects, including writing code • Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage servers across multiple cloud environments • Create, manage, and maintain cloud networking components • Perform database and server backups and restores • Assist in ensuring security processes are followed and customer data is secured • Perform other administrative tasks in cloud environments as directed • Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve issues • Build effective working relationships with cross-functional team members • Suggest process improvements and enhanced operational efficiencies • Report to the Senior Director, Cloud Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years working with public cloud infrastructure: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Advanced Linux or open source knowledge • Expertise in containerization, including Kubernetes • Solid understanding of cloud networking and security • Knowledge of Infrastructure and Configuration as Code methodologies • Detailed knowledge of microservices and DevOps • 3+ years in incident response and major incident management • Experience with Docker, Rancher, virtualization, VPN, Kafka, and RDP • Advanced Linux and Windows experience • Experience with Confluence/Jira, Nagios, SSO, and SQL is highly desirable
