📋 Description

• Maintain and continuously improve the reliability and scalability of services. • Participate in 2.5-hour on-call duties and one paid weekend on-call per month. • Develop and manage complex hybrid infrastructure, primarily multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters, using infrastructure as code. • Manage incidents and participate in the on-call rotation. • Improve platform monitoring and alerting. • Apply monitoring and observation learnings to improve system availability and performance. • Automate repetitive processes to reduce workload. • Plan, design, and execute solutions for team-agreed goals. • Identify non-scaling system components, provide immediate workarounds, and drive long-term resolutions. • Improve documentation by explaining the rationale behind processes and systems. • Develop domain expertise and share knowledge with team members.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience operating mission-critical services and responsibility for reliability, uptime, and SLA. • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification. • Availability during the Americas time zone. • Production experience with containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Nomad. • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Helm, Terraform, and Ansible. • Experience with monitoring solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, and BetterUptime. • Public cloud provider experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar. • Programming skills in Python and/or Go. • RDBMS experience. • Ability to analyze systems, including edge cases, failure modes, behaviours, and specific implementations. • Proficiency in Linux and the shell. • Enthusiastic, proactive approach to fixing broken systems. • Strong documentation practices. • Exceptional intellectual drive to deepen blockchain knowledge.
