📋 Description

• Responsible for applying the voice, content, and daily operations of Chess.com 's official Italian social media channels. • Develops and executes a content strategy that drives engagement and grows the audience. • Manages the day-to-day operations of Chess.com's official Italian social media channels across various platforms. • Actively monitors and engages with conversations, trends, and key creators within the global chess community. • Analyzes and reports social media performance data and audience insights to inform content strategy and optimize for engagement, reach, and growth. • Collaborates with marketing, content, and events teams to plan and execute social media campaigns.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency in Italian • Proven results by managing social media channels, preferably in the gaming, entertainment, or tech industry. • Knowledge of chess, including rules, notation, tournament culture, key figures • Demonstrated ability to create timely, and highly engaging content (memes, viral videos) that aligns with internet culture and brand voice. • Proficiency with basic photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut). • Deep understanding of content strategy, platform algorithms, and best practices for major social media platforms. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills suitable for a fully distributed, remote team environment. • A high sense of ownership, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning. • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt content and messaging to Italian speaking communities while respecting cultural nuances. • A sense of humor.
