📋 Description

• Conduct continuous discovery research, including customer interviews, stakeholder interviews, contextual fieldwork, and context mapping • Conduct moderated and unmoderated usability testing on prototypes to identify friction before build begins • Synthesize qualitative data into clear, prioritized recommendations for the Service Designer and product leadership • Define user personas, experience metrics, and customer journey insight frameworks • Manage research logistics end-to-end, including participant recruitment, discussion guides, and insight documentation • Present findings to non-research audiences, including senior stakeholders, to build advocacy and support decision-making • Translate insights into actionable recommendations and influence decision-making across multidisciplinary teams • Collaborate closely with Service Designers and Product Managers to inform product and service direction • Collaborate with stakeholders and customers across the UK and US

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a User Researcher, with a track record of both generative and evaluative research in complex product environments • Strong qualitative research skills, including designing and leading in-depth interviews, contextual enquiry, and diary studies • Experience with moderated and unmoderated usability testing methodologies • Ability to synthesize large volumes of qualitative data into clear, actionable insights • Strong communication skills, including presenting research findings persuasively to non-research audiences and senior stakeholders • Collaborative working style and experience embedded in cross-functional teams alongside designers, product managers, and strategy leads • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or operationally complex product environments • Familiarity with automotive retail, dealership operations, or related service industries • Proficiency with Dovetail, UserTesting, Figma, Miro, or Confluence • Knowledge of quantitative research methods • Experience contributing to or directly informing product roadmap prioritization
