• Administer employee benefits programs across the US, Canada, and Mexico • Manage relationships with benefits carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators • Respond to escalated employee and HRBP benefits inquiries • Partner with Finance and Payroll on deductions, funding, and reconciliation • Maintain benefits documentation and required regulatory filings • Lead annual open enrollment, including planning, timelines, system configuration, and communications • Evaluate plan design options and benchmark plan competitiveness • Configure enrollment events, eligibility rules, and employee content in Workday • Develop enrollment communications, FAQs, and educational materials • Conduct post-enrollment audits and resolve HRIS, payroll, and carrier discrepancies • Support annual merit and compensation planning, including manager materials, Workday task configuration, and merit uploads • Advise HRBPs on compensation guidelines, band structures, and Workday functionality • Support off-cycle compensation actions, promotional increases, equity adjustments, and new hire offers • Support short-term incentive programs, including target data collection, payout calculations, and communications • Serve as compensation and benefits resource for HRBPs supporting US, Canada, and Mexico • Advise on total rewards implications for hires, transfers, promotions, and restructurings • Represent Total Rewards in HR operations meetings and project teams • Identify recurring issues and recommend program or process improvements • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations across the US, Canada, and Mexico • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and recommend program adjustments • Support internal and external compensation and benefits audits
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required • 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation and/or benefits administration • Experience supporting multi-country programs in the Americas • Direct hands-on experience administering benefits programs in the US required; Canada strongly preferred; Mexico preferred • Strong knowledge of US benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA • Strong communication skills for explaining complex total rewards concepts • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and relationship-building skills • Working knowledge of Canadian provincial benefits requirements • Familiarity with IMSS/AFORE structures in Mexico • Experience supporting annual merit/compensation planning cycles and system-based compensation planning tools • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, specifically Workday compensation and benefits modules, strongly preferred • Experience with global job architecture and job evaluation frameworks such as Radford • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; Canadian French a plus • Exposure to equity compensation programs such as RSUs and stock options • CCP, CBP, or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
