📋 Description

• Build a cloud-native database platform on public cloud infrastructure • Work on the in-house Kubernetes operator for seamless infrastructure management • Improve the metrics pipeline and build systems that generate better statistics and recommendations • Collaborate with the ClickHouse core development team and other data plane teams on infrastructure use cases and internal infrastructure improvements • Architect and build robust, scalable and highly available distributed infrastructure • Develop and maintain infrastructure that supports ClickHouse as a serverless database solution • Drive continuous improvements in cloud infrastructure performance and scalability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems • Production experience with Go, C++ or Java • Experience with PagerDuty on-call and debugging production systems • Strong problem-solving ability • Expertise with AWS, GCP or Azure and infrastructure-as-a-service offerings such as EC2 • Experience with data storage, ingestion and transformation using Spark, Kafka or similar tools • Experience working with distributed systems • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within and across engineering teams • Experience with Kubernetes-based infrastructure on cloud providers • Experience building and maintaining near-real-time data or ML pipelines in production • Ability to work in the current location with required work authorization or sponsorship arrangements
