📋 Description

• Prepare, analyze, and use accurate financial data to consolidate information and build financial simulations • Enable management to make appropriate strategic decisions • Contribute to the clinic’s budgeting cycle • Perform the clinic’s quarterly and annual closings, as well as those of its departments and medical services • Prepare the annual budgets for the clinic, departments, management divisions, and medical services • Contribute to the preparation of summary documents, including briefing notes and PowerPoint presentations • Develop budget projections and monitor services • Support services in preparing their budgets, monitoring their performance, and identifying their cost structures • Contribute to the creation of service-level budget monitoring templates • Analyze budget variances on a quarterly basis • Analyze the impact of changes in activity levels on revenue and costs • Monitor cash flow and contribute to the cash flow plan, particularly the long-term plan • Prepare financing and banking documentation related to funding the Master Plan • Contribute to subsidy applications submitted to COCOM • Serve as the link between Accounting, Human Resources, and the Belgian Federal Public Service Health • Verify salary accounting, monthly account balances, the Finhosta trial balance, and staff allocation by service • Contribute to salary projections, adjustments, and provisions • Collaborate on the development of management tools • Propose, improve, and update actionable dashboards • Collect the data required to update KPIs related to the strategic plan • Participate in temporary specific projects, such as optimizing the costs of a service or department

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics, Public Health Sciences, Business Engineering, or an equivalent qualification • At least initial professional experience in a similar role • Technical expertise in financial analysis and financial reporting • General understanding of accounting principles • Integrity and a strong commitment to work quality and positive working relationships • Clear and diplomatic communication skills • Logical mindset, rigor, critical thinking, and strong synthesis skills • Initiative, pragmatism, and proactivity • Ability to manage and resolve complex issues • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Accuracy and adherence to procedures, while contributing to change and innovation • Experience in the financial management of healthcare institutions is an asset • Proficiency in MS Office Excel • Excellent command of French (C2) • Minimum A2 level in Dutch • Project management skills are an asset • Commitment to ethics and professional standards, with an open-minded approach to cultural diversity in a hospital environment
