📋 Description

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using AI-powered OCR tools to capture and code invoices • Perform daily and monthly bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations • Set up and train machine-learning rules within accounting software to automate categorizations • Maintain and update the general ledger, focusing on exception handling • Use automated follow-up systems and AI drafting tools for collections and vendor communications • Process expense reports and manage vendor records using integrated technology solutions • Prepare basic monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet • Assist external CPAs with tax season preparation

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar transactional accounting role for US-based companies • Hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero • QuickBooks Online certification • Full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience • Experience with bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations • Practical experience using AI-powered OCR, receipt scanners, and automated accounting workflows • Knowledge of general ledger maintenance, expense processing, and vendor management • Ability to prepare basic financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet) • Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1) for professional communication • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets • High accuracy, attention to detail, and process improvement mindset • Experience with Bill.com, Dext, Hubdoc, or similar tools • Experience implementing automated invoice capture, transaction categorization, and collections workflows • Experience supporting U.S. CPAs with tax preparation
