📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance batch and real-time streaming data pipeline architectures • Ingest, process, and reliably deliver large, complex datasets • Automate manual workflows and optimize query execution • Re-engineer cloud infrastructure to improve data freshness, scalability, and fault tolerance • Build production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Azure, and/or GCP • Extract and unify data across distributed sources • Develop, test, and maintain data tooling, data marts, and feature stores • Enable analytics engineers and data scientists to deploy performant models and business intelligence solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in North America • Lead root cause analysis on pipeline bottlenecks • Manage dependencies and ensure sound data governance across environments

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering • Proven expertise in data modeling, metadata management, and workload orchestration • Advanced proficiency in Python and complex SQL • Hands-on production experience with Databricks • Practical experience with Apache Spark • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery • Experience architecting stream-based and batch-oriented data pipelines • Experience handling semi-structured and unstructured data at scale • Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1) • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills • Comfortable driving technical conversations with U.S.-based engineering teams aligned to East or West Coast business hours
