📋 Description

• Monitoring the Vessels Statutory Deck equipment Certificates ensuring all are in date • Highlighting to the Staff Captain any that are due for renewal • Conducting Deck Officer Duty and Deck Department Hazardous Familiarisation training • Assisting Staff Captain as required with scheduling, planning and management of Deck maintenance, inspections and surveys

🎯 Requirements

• Valid COC (STCW Reg II/2) with verification • Valid STCW certifications required for the position • Excellent knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other maritime regulations • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and crisis management skills • Advanced English level; additional languages are an asset and recommended • Safety culture and mindset • Experience with multicultural working environment • Substantial experience in same rank on large cruise ships, with Azipod propulsion systems • Experience in worldwide itinerary
