📋 Description

• Assume overall command of the vessel, ensuring safe navigation and operations • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements • Plan and execute voyages efficiently • Supervise cargo operations, including loading, stowage, securing, and discharge • Lead the crew, enforce safety procedures, and conduct drills • Handle emergencies • Maintain documentation and reporting • Work as part of Columbia Shipmanagement's growing and diverse fleet

🎯 Requirements

• Valid COC (STCW Reg II/2) with verification • Valid STCW certifications required for the position • Minimum 12 months in rank on the same type/size of vessel • Experience with a multicultural working environment • Good communication and leadership skills • Fluent written and spoken English • Safety culture and mindset • Experience in trading areas USA and Australia is recommended
