📋 Description

• Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction • Build and maintain the Python/Django backend powering the consumer dashboard and B2B platform • Develop new features for APIs supporting the consumer dashboard and customer reporting • Improve performance and reliability in Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines • Integrate third-party services, including payment and identity providers such as Stripe and WorkOS SSO • Perform backend code reviews and participate in reviews with other Senior Engineers • Own features from start to finish, including post-release production reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building production web applications • 3+ years with Python and Django • Production experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis • Working knowledge of data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design • Strong written communication • Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones • Self-direction and follow-through • DRF and/or django-ninja • Postgres tuning and query analysis • Kubernetes and AWS • Stripe, WorkOS SSO, or other third-party API integrations • HTMX, React, or both • Background in consumer privacy or adjacent industries • Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, etc.)
