📋 Description

• Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction • Build and maintain the Django backend powering the consumer dashboard and B2B platform • Develop APIs for the consumer dashboard and customer reporting • Improve performance and reliability in Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines • Integrate third-party services, including payment providers and identity providers such as Stripe and WorkOS SSO • Own features from start to finish, including post-release production reliability • Participate in code reviews on a small backend team

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building production web applications • 3+ years with Python and Django • Production experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis • Working knowledge of data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design • Strong written communication • Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones • Self-direction and follow-through • DRF and/or django-ninja (strong plus) • Postgres tuning and query analysis (strong plus) • Kubernetes and AWS (strong plus) • Stripe, WorkOS SSO, or other third-party API integrations (strong plus) • HTMX, React, or both (strong plus) • Background in consumer privacy or adjacent industries (strong plus) • Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code (strong plus)
