📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, test, deploy, document, and maintain software applications across the full technology stack • Provide application development services and technical support for existing systems and new technology deployments • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions and specifications • Design, develop, analyze, and modify application logic to meet business needs • Evaluate solution options and recommend the most effective approach • Write maintainable code, create and execute test plans, debug and troubleshoot applications • Ensure compliance with software development standards and best practices • Support and enhance cloud-based and third-party applications throughout their lifecycle • Ensure reliability, performance, security, and alignment with business objectives • Develop technology strategies and implement improvements across applications, integrations, and business processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application systems, data processes, integrations, and data governance • Estimate effort, deliver tested and reviewed solutions, and communicate progress, risks, and blockers • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly in accordance with organizational policies • Mentor and coach software developers through code reviews, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving • Partner with development teams and stakeholders across the United States, Brazil, and Latin America • Engage with users and business partners to resolve software issues, gather requirements, and deliver functionality • Interpret business and user requirements and incorporate code review and quality assurance feedback • Contribute to and improve software engineering standards, development methodologies, and technical best practices • Integrate child protection considerations into daily work and report concerns through established processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development • Strong frontend development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with PHP/Laravel, APIs, databases, and backend technologies • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement end-to-end software solutions • Strong understanding of servers, networking, and application architecture • Experience conducting and participating in code reviews • Ability to explain technical decisions and communicate project status, risks, and results effectively • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and self-management • Experience mentoring or coaching other developers • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with distributed teams • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining full ownership of delivered solutions • Equivalent education, training, experience and/or certification may be substituted for any of the minimum qualifications listed above
