📋 Description

• Represent major clients in civil litigation related to the basic sanitation sector • Handle all stages of proceedings, from drafting legal pleadings to appeals before the superior courts • Attend case-management meetings, hearings, and oral arguments before the courts • Fully manage the law firm’s matters and monitor case progress • Access and use electronic court systems for filings, case updates, and procedural tracking • Negotiate and manage judicial and out-of-court settlements • Interact directly with clients and communicate case progress • Protect clients’ interests in administrative litigation before the relevant regulatory authorities, when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law • Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) • Experience in the basic sanitation sector • Postgraduate degree and/or MBA as specified in the job application • Experience in civil litigation • Experience drafting legal pleadings at all stages, including appeals to the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) and the Federal Supreme Court (STF) • Experience or demonstrated ability to conduct hearings, case-management meetings, and oral arguments • Knowledge of and experience using electronic court systems • Ability to negotiate and manage judicial and out-of-court settlements • Availability to handle administrative litigation when necessary
