📋 Description

• Manage multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Prepare sales tax returns • Research tax issues and draft CRA letters • Perform ad hoc bookkeeping reviews • Collaborate with clients and team members in a virtual accounting firm • Contribute to workflow improvements and firm culture

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a similar role or bookkeeping for 3+ years • Excellent understanding of how an accounting system works • Working knowledge and experience with Xero or QBO is an asset • Designated CPA preferred • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks • Familiarity with task tracking tools such as Karbon, ClickUp, Monday, or Asana • Ability to work independently in a remote setting • Ability to learn new software quickly • Knowledge of bookkeeping, invoicing, payables, tax rates, and year-ends • Experience with Xero, QBO, Hubdoc, and Dext is a big plus • Internet speed of at least 6Mbps upload/download
