📋 Description

• Build and ship high-quality Studio product UI using React and TypeScript • Own complex frontend features end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, polish, and production follow-through • Optimize load time, runtime responsiveness, rendering, and perceived speed in a heavy creative/AI product • Partner with Product Design to turn Figma designs into buildable experiences and improve them collaboratively • Propose improved interactions, component patterns, UX enhancements, and technical approaches that help creators work faster • Improve frontend code quality through clarity, maintainability, appropriate testing, and reusable systems • Work with APIs, state, and real-time or media-heavy flows • Collaborate with backend and platform engineers on reliable, scalable product experiences • Use AI tools to accelerate engineering work while maintaining standards • Help shape frontend standards, reviews, and technical direction as a senior team voice • Stay current with React, TypeScript, frontend performance practices, and AI product UX patterns

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience shipping production web applications • Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript in real product codebases • Deep understanding of frontend performance, including rendering, bundling, caching, profiling, and fixing real bottlenecks • Experience building complex, interactive product UI such as dashboards, editors, creative tools, or similarly rich applications • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate engineering work • Good written and spoken English • Creative and proactive, with comfort proposing ideas rather than only implementing briefs • Thrives in ambiguity and can clarify incomplete requirements, make sound decisions, and continue shipping • Independent and resourceful, able to unblock yourself, find answers quickly, and own delivery while partnering effectively with design and engineering • Must already be living in Australia or New Zealand
