📋 Description

• Investigate security alerts generated by the Cynet platform to detect threats and support live incident response engagements • Analyze suspicious programs and software using relevant tools to identify threats and classify malware • Produce malware analysis reports • Identify threats affecting global customers through advanced threat hunting services complementing standard Security Operations Center services • Perform analysis and forensics on security threats, malware, and attacks in the wild using industry-standard platforms and tools

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience performing incident response in a Security Operations Center or equivalent cybersecurity organization • Hands-on experience with host and network digital forensics • Strong knowledge of incident response, digital forensics, and cyber threat hunting • Expertise in identifying threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures • Familiarity with malware analysis • Ability to coordinate assignments within a team and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Hands-on experience with at least one programming language • 1+ year of technical experience within network, IT, or cybersecurity domains • Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols, including HTTP and DNS • Hands-on problem-solving approach • Ability to understand and learn complex technological systems and identify critical areas • Exceptional analytical skills, creative out-of-the-box thinking, analytical mindset, and research orientation • Strong presentation and training skills • Experience operating security tools such as FW, IDS, SIEM, and endpoint protection • Experience monitoring EDR, XDR, or SIEM solutions is an advantage • Experience working as an analyst in a Cyber SOC is an advantage • Experience exposing and exploiting vulnerabilities is an advantage
