📋 Description

• Translate business requirements into clear system designs and working software • Extend and evolve existing systems so they continue to grow sustainably • Build secure systems that follow established standards, with real protection against common attack vectors • Design, build and document APIs for other teams and systems to consume • Use AI tools to accelerate development, and rigorously review and validate all AI-generated output • Verify that systems meet requirements through systematic testing, review and validation • Communicate technical decisions clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building web systems with PHP, Go or Node.js • Solid understanding of web security standards, with practical, working approaches to attack prevention • Strong grasp of different API styles, able to consume existing APIs and design new ones • Hands-on use of AI to assist system development, with the discipline to review AI-generated work • Ability to inspect and verify systems to confirm they meet requirements • Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving and technical decision-making • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex topics simply to the team and stakeholders • Collaborative team player, open to ideas and feedback • Eager to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments • Good command of English, spoken and written
