📋 Description

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and semantic models in Power BI, ensuring the performance, usability, and reliability of deliverables • Design and implement tabular models, including dimensional modeling, hierarchies, and DAX measures • Support the migration of legacy architectures using Azure Analysis Services to Power BI Premium/Fabric • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions, working consultatively with stakeholders • Manage the semantic model lifecycle, including deployment, version control, partition refreshes, performance monitoring, and workspace management in Power BI Service • Implement and maintain row-level security (RLS) and object-level security policies • Perform data transformations and preparation using Power Query with SQL and/or M • Optimize models and DAX measures to ensure performance with large data volumes • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to define the data layers that feed analytical models • Document models, measures, and development standards • Support pre-sales and technical qualification processes by preparing proofs of concept and demonstrations of analytical solutions for clients

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI (Desktop and Service) • Advanced proficiency in DAX, including complex measures, time-intelligence functions, and performance optimization • Experience with dimensional modeling • Knowledge of Power Query/M for data transformation and preparation • Experience with Azure Analysis Services (AAS), including deployment, tabular model management, and partitioning • Experience publishing, versioning, and managing workspaces in Power BI Service • Familiarity with row-level security (RLS) • Knowledge of SQL • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Direct Lake, pipelines, and OneLake shortcuts • Preferred: Experience with Tabular Editor and Measure Killer • Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD for Power BI projects, including PBIP and automated deployment pipelines • Preferred: Familiarity with Direct Lake and model semantics over Delta Tables in Fabric • Preferred: Familiarity with mirroring Databricks Unity Catalog in Fabric • Preferred: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or other tools in the Azure ecosystem • Preferred: Experience with AAS migration projects to Power BI Premium/Fabric
