📋 Description

• Developing and optimizing database solutions with a focus on Sybase and PostgreSQL • Administration of database systems on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Red Hat • Designing and implementing new database architectures to support modern business requirements • Developing and maintaining database APIs to ensure smooth interaction between applications and databases • Performance tuning and monitoring of existing databases to ensure availability and stability • Database migrations and upgrades, including planning and execution • Collaborating with software developers, system administrators and other stakeholders to develop integrated solutions • Documenting and establishing best practices for database processes • Supporting troubleshooting and resolution of database issues as part of the support function

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification • Several years of professional experience in database development and administration, ideally with Sybase and PostgreSQL • Confident working with Linux-based operating systems • Ideally, experience administering Linux-based systems (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Red Hat) • Experience designing and implementing database architectures and developing database APIs • Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling • Knowledge of backup strategies, replication and high-availability solutions • Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills and a high commitment to quality • Interest in working in an agile team and in the resilient healthcare sector • A communicative personality with a careful working style and high quality standards • Good command of German and English, with strong communication skills
