📋 Description

• Develop interfaces for connecting medical laboratory instruments and other systems to the Opus::L Laboratory Information System (LIS) • Implement device and system connectivity based on HL7, ASTM, and proprietary device protocols • Analyze device specifications and implement the corresponding communication logic • Integrate analyzers and system components into existing laboratory environments • Perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems in live operations • Ensure software quality while complying with regulatory requirements • Create and maintain technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or a comparable qualification • At least 5 years of software development experience with C/C++ or Java • Knowledge of interface development and device communication, as well as an understanding of serial communication, TCP/IP, and data formats • Experience with HL7, particularly HL7 FHIR, is desirable • Knowledge of laboratory environments (LIS, analyzers, and workflows) is an advantage • Experience with software testing, such as unit testing, integration testing, and test automation • Enthusiasm for using GitHub Copilot, along with independent quality assurance of generated results through professional review and testing • Analytical approach to technical problems, with a focus on traceable solutions and software quality
