📋 Description

• Act as a true co-pilot to the management team and participate in board meetings from day one • Own the equity story, including narrative, metrics, data room, and diligence readiness • Lead future financing rounds, strategic options, and capital markets strategy alongside founders and board • Own the path to sustainable positive cash flows through driver-based planning and disciplined capital allocation • Build an AI-first finance and operations function, automating before hiring and working directly in models and tools • Drive commercial intelligence for go-to-market and Product investment decisions • Influence pricing, packaging, NRR economics, and unit-economics decisions • Own the multi-entity European group structure, transfer pricing, tax efficiency, and compliance • Maintain a clean, well-modeled cap table and VSOP • Deliver investor-grade accounting and SaaS revenue recognition under local GAAP • Manage statutory audits and potential future conversion to relevant GAAP • Run board and investor reporting and represent deskbird to existing and future investors • Oversee treasury, FX, runway discipline, scenario planning, audit readiness, legal, procurement, and insurance

🎯 Requirements

• Transaction-shaped career, ideally PE, M&A or investment banking, followed by operating experience in a scaling company • Exceptional candidates from transaction advisory (e.g. Big4) or top-tier strategy consulting with strong deal exposure will also be considered • Deep fluency in finance processes and B2B SaaS mechanics, including ARR/NRR, cohort economics, CAC payback, Rule of 40, and the ARR-to-cash bridge • Experience at a scale and complexity exceeding €10M ARR and approximately 100+ employees • Ideally, experience with companies exceeding €25M ARR • Fundraising and/or liquidity event exposure, ideally involving efficient, profitable growth • Hands-on, builder-oriented approach focused on enterprise value created per team member • Genuine excitement about AI-native ways of working and daily use of AI tools • Based in or willing to work from Zurich, Berlin, Munich, or London; remote within Europe possible for an outstanding candidate • Full working proficiency in English • German strongly preferred • Experience owning or partnering closely with People & Culture is nice to have • Experience with multi-entity European operations, Swiss/EU accounting, VAT, transfer pricing, and cross-border payroll is nice to have • Venture debt, structured financing, or buy-side M&A experience is nice to have
