📋 Description
• Maintain SAP application components and functionalities to fulfill customer demands • Customize SAP applications, troubleshoot issues, and restore original functionality • Provide technical and functional support for SAP modules including HCM, SF, FI/CO, and Logistics • Provide architecture, solution, and implementation consulting • Advise customers on cloud-based process mapping and target/actual concepts • Conduct requirements and feasibility analyses, quotation calculations, and customer presentations • Develop, conceptualize, and design modern architectural solutions • Act as the direct client contact for module-related troubleshooting and business requirements • Define system strategies and requirements; design, prototype, test, train, qualify, quantify support procedures, and implement business solutions • Write ABAP query reports and dialog programs • Analyze customer demands for SAP customization and propose appropriate solutions • Document system changes and new component designs • Test newly added functionalities to prevent errors in production systems • Present proposed solutions to customers • Provide project status feedback and constructive options • Deliver professional customer service and build long-term business relationships • Train and mentor junior colleagues • Support new business and transitions across SAP modules
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an ABAP developer focused on SAP ERP • Studies in business administration or business informatics, or comparable training • Integrative system understanding and specific knowledge developing relevant processes in SAP ERP and S/4HANA • Experience in SAP application management as a developer or experience in S/4HANA implementation projects (brownfield/greenfield) • English at B2 level • German at C1 level, or communicative German and willingness to learn • Willingness to travel and stay abroad for longer periods, including three two-week sessions monthly within 0.5 year • Willingness to learn German legal requirements and framework conditions • Good knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation in Application Management Services, ideally with ServiceNow (nice to have) • Initial experience with agile methods such as SCRUM, KANBAN, or Design Thinking (nice to have) • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira and Confluence (nice to have) • Experience with SAP BI/BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Lumira, or SAP Business Technology Platform (nice to have) • First touchpoints in the public sector and/or healthcare industry knowledge (nice to have) • Experience in interface development and/or FIORI/UI5 (nice to have)
