📋 Description

• Lead testing activities across blockchain-based applications from requirements analysis and manual validation through test automation and release support • Review business requirements and technical documentation to identify testing needs • Manually test new features and existing functionality to understand system behavior and guide automation • Define and improve QA strategies, test plans, and quality gates • Establish testing ownership and coordinate responsibilities between QA and engineering teams • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on test coverage and acceptance criteria • Build and maintain automated test suites, frameworks, and test harnesses for backend, integration, and contract testing • Test blockchain integrations, smart contracts, REST APIs, JSON-RPC endpoints, MCP servers, and other blockchain-specific functionality • Integrate and monitor automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and quality gates • Investigate and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems and blockchain integrations • Adjust testing priorities and approaches as project needs evolve • Maintain test documentation, report quality risks, and communicate testing progress and blockers • Expand automation coverage and improve QA practices across multiple projects

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in QA/SDET roles covering manual and automated testing across the full SDLC • Strong experience with backend and non-UI test automation • Experience developing, maintaining, and debugging automated tests • Strong programming skills for test automation, preferably with TypeScript/Node.js • Ability to define QA strategies, test plans, and quality gates from the ground up • Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including wallets, transactions, and blockchain types • Experience testing REST APIs and RPC-based interfaces, including JSON-RPC and gRPC • Experience with Docker-based test environments and debugging containerized services • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establishing quality gates • Experience with AWS-based infrastructure • Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to independently manage testing activities, own deliverables, and communicate progress and blockers • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take a flexible, hands-on approach to testing • Ability to define testing scope and balance coverage between QA and engineering teams • Strong communication and collaboration skills across stakeholders and teams • Upper-Intermediate+ English level • Desirable: experience testing blockchain systems, smart contracts, and transaction flows • Desirable: experience with Go for test automation • Desirable: EVM testing with Foundry, Hardhat, or similar frameworks • Desirable: ability to read and understand Solidity or Rust • Desirable: experience with Layer 2 solutions and blockchain protocol testing • Desirable: experience testing asynchronous messaging systems such as AWS SNS/SQS or Azure Service Bus • Desirable: Kubernetes experience • Desirable: observability-driven testing experience • Desirable: experience testing MCP servers • Desirable: performance and load testing experience
