📋 Description

• Design, code, test, maintain, and enhance complex Android applications • Own feature development from requirements through delivery, ensuring performance, security, and reliability • Work with developers, architects, testers, and analysts on technical designs for feature groups • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to refine requirements and break down tasks • Coordinate team activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure team alignment for timely delivery • Guide and mentor developers and help solve complex engineering challenges • Contribute to technical decision-making and promote consistent engineering standards • Conduct code reviews and ensure 100% code review coverage • Write unit and functional tests • Assist QA with reviewing, creating, and delivering automation tests • Work hands-on throughout the full software development life cycle in an agile environment for a leading payments technology company

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of Android development experience • Previous experience as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or in a similar leadership role • Expertise in native Android development with Java and Kotlin • Strong knowledge of MVVM and modern Android architecture patterns • Hands-on experience with Android libraries and integrations • Knowledge of secure coding practices, including build obfuscation and encryption • Experience with encryption frameworks and utilities such as HTTPS, TLS, SHA-256, and Cipher Block Chaining • Ability to lead technical discussions, guide and mentor developers, coordinate team activities, and support technical decision-making • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and support efficient team delivery • Experience conducting code reviews and maintaining engineering standards • Excellent communication skills for documentation, planning, and cross-functional collaboration • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail • High ownership, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and a collaborative mindset • CV submitted in English • Desirable: experience with third-party device integration, understanding of client-server full-stack architecture, and understanding of Pub/Sub and Producer/Consumer messaging patterns
