📋 Description

• Serve as the core backend specialist for a sustainable apparel and retail brand • Take full ownership of backend architecture, internal tooling, and critical third-party integrations • Work closely with a small, collaborative engineering team • Ensure the reliability and performance of e-commerce, retail, and logistics systems • Architect robust API connections • Proactively troubleshoot and maintain platform stability, particularly across a Shopify-centric ecosystem during high-traffic periods • Deliver immediate, high-visibility impact across the entire operational pipeline

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of solid and proven experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on backend development • Strong proficiency and experience in Ruby on Rails, OR equivalent deep experience in Python using frameworks like Flask or Django • Hands-on experience working with third-party API integrations and Shopify APIs • Solid background working with standard databases such as MySQL • Familiarity with standard frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to maintain and adjust internal tools, without needing to be a frontend expert • Strong analytical capacity and debugging skills to proactively solve technical problems and collaborate on solutions via shared communication channels • Strong technical fundamentals with a low reliance on Artificial Intelligence tools; AI should be used strictly to enhance development velocity, not as a dependency to operate
