📋 Description

• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 engineers • Own complex technical issues through to resolution • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions • Provide expert technical support across Microsoft 365 and Azure • Support Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Defender • Work with Conditional Access and Microsoft Secure Score • Manage Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Files, Backup, Identity and Azure Virtual Desktop • Plan and implement customer infrastructure projects end-to-end • Deliver Microsoft 365 migrations and Azure deployments • Implement Intune solutions and Windows Server upgrades • Modernise Active Directory environments • Deliver infrastructure refreshes and security improvements • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions • Support network upgrades and larger cloud infrastructure deployments • Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers and build wider service desk capability • Develop technical documentation, standards and standard operating procedures • Recommend improvements to systems, automation and operational processes • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive technical tasks • Contribute to continuous improvement across technical operations

• Expert-level Microsoft 365 knowledge • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune • Azure expertise • Experience with Exchange Online and SharePoint Online • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Defender • Windows Server and Active Directory • Group Policy • DNS and DHCP • TCP/IP networking and VPN technologies • Backup and disaster recovery • PowerShell • Desirable: Datto RMM and Datto EDR • Desirable: RocketCyber • Desirable: Cisco Meraki • Desirable: Cloudflare • Desirable: Microsoft Purview • Desirable: Azure Virtual Desktop • Desirable: IT Glue and Autotask PSA • Desirable: Microsoft Copilot • Strong troubleshooting and technical decision-making abilities • Clear communication with customers and colleagues • Organised, self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced managed services environment • Enjoys mentoring and developing other engineers • Commitment to continual learning
